Scholarships

Holy Trinity Lutheran College is committed to supporting excellence in spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, cultural and social outcomes, providing students with opportunities to use their God-given talents to serve others while gaining the necessary skills to thrive in an ever-changing world.

As part of this commitment, we offer academic and general excellence scholarships to students who have the potential to benefit from the school's outstanding academic and co-curricular programs.

Academic and general excellence scholarships are available to new and returning students entering Year 7 up to Year 12 in 2025 and are based on the following criteria:

  • academic performance (ACER Scholarship Test and previous academic results)
  • application to studies
  • leadership and service capabilities.

Scholarships awarded to successful students will provide a remission on tuition fees (excluding levies, excursions and other tuition costs) ranging from 10% to 50%, plus a one-off bursary to support the purchase of additional uniform items.

The LLL School Bursaries have been made available due to the generosity of the LLL. The bursaries will be awarded for a maximum of six years but reviewed on an annual basis to ensure financial need remains and the recipient continues to contribute broadly and positively to the life of the school. They will be prioritised to those children entering the traditional primary and secondary intake years, the first year of formal schooling and the first year of secondary school education. They will cover 50 per cent of the annual tuition fee, exclusive of camps and levies, up to a maximum of $5,000. See below for selection criteria and how to apply.

The Victorian Government's Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund provides schools with payments for eligible students to attend camps, excursions and sporting events. To be eligible for this funding, families must hold a valid means-tested concession card. CSEF eligibility will be subject to the parent/legal guardian’s concession card being successfully validated with Centrelink on the first day of either Term 1 or Term 2.

The college will offer assistance to those who qualify.

CSEF applications for 2024 close at the end of Term 2. Get more information and apply here.
