Executive Principal's Message (15 May 2026)
Strategic Plan update
As part of the ongoing journey of the newly amalgamated Wimmera Lutheran College, members of the Executive Leadership Team and College Board will come together this Saturday 16 May for a strategic planning day, focused on developing the College’s Mission, Vision and Values statements. This important work will help shape a shared direction and identity for the future of our College community across all campuses.
In our Lutheran schools, Mission, Vision and Values statements are far more than words on a page: they provide a foundation for decision-making, guide the culture and priorities of the school and ensure that all aspects of learning and wellbeing remain grounded in our Gospel mission. They help articulate who we are, what we stand for, and the kind of young people we seek to nurture; students who are supported academically, spiritually, socially, emotionally and physically as part of a holistic Christian education. This planning day will be an important milestone as we continue to strengthen a united College identity while remaining centred on Christ and committed to developing students who are compassionate, relational, adventurous and purposeful.
Uniform update
It has been exciting to begin seeing uniform items featuring the new Wimmera Lutheran College logo appearing across our three campuses. The introduction of the new logo is another important step in the journey of our amalgamated College, and reflects the shared identity we are continuing to build together as one community.
As part of this transition, the three campuses will maintain their existing uniform items, with the previous logos gradually being replaced by the new Wimmera Lutheran College logo, as current stock runs out. Any future changes or adjustments to uniforms will be considered carefully and communicated with families in due course. As an interim measure, all current uniform items, policies and expectations will remain in place until further notice. These documents can be accessed via the WLC landing page - wlc.vic.edu.au.
WLC - Horsham Campus Open Day
The Horsham Campus Open Day is fast approaching. We look forward to welcoming families to the Horsham Campus next Wednesday 20 May. Families can go for a tour of the three sub-schools, sit through a Year 7 Information Session, explore the Showcase, or sign up for the Come and Try Day if students are currently in Year 6. There will also be refreshments available. I encourage all families from WLC to spread the word and encourage your friends to come along to check out WLC - Horsham Campus.

Nhill and Dimboola Campus Open Day events will take place later in the year.
School photos
School photo days are always an exciting opportunity to capture important memories and milestones in the lives of our students and College community. As part of the ongoing development of Wimmera Lutheran College as one unified College, we are pleased to be working with the same school photographer across all three campuses in 2026.
Working with one photography provider across Horsham, Nhill and Dimboola provides many benefits for our College community, including a consistent photographic style and branding across publications, streamlined communication and ordering processes for families and greater efficiency in co-ordinating school photo days and events. Beyond traditional school photos, this partnership also supports the creation of whole College photographs, promotional photography and videos, event coverage, yearbook production, marketing materials, virtual tours and other resources that help tell the story of our College community.
Having a shared provider also strengthens our ability to showcase the unified identity of Wimmera Lutheran College while celebrating the unique character and achievements of each campus.
Mr Jason Przibilla, Executive Principal
